Abstract
We think about the experience gained from reading Kafka’s work which is in fact a modern literary experiment. We also try to figure out how to evoke that experience in literary seminars (and we suggest to combine the decontextualization and careful internal contextualization). The third part of our reflection contains the review of Kafka’s biographic series Kafka (2024) and the way the series depict his life and work. We also ask the question how audiovisual media can contribute to evoke the above mentioned experience or if the experience can even be overshadowed by the media.
