Discreet Comeback of a Great Storyteller
The prevailing subject matter we focus on in our article is the latest prosaic book of Pavel Brycz (1968) – the collection of three short stories Nomádská víra (2023). Introductory part summarizes Brycz’s numerous works published so far and comprising especially children’s books the author focused on in recent years. While his books for children received a number of positive reviews, Brycz’s prose for adults seems to be currently in decline. However, the latest collection of three (slightly fantastic) short poems or novels proves that Brycz still is a great storyteller. His poetic gift is unique as well as his ability to express his opinion on current social problems in an original way.
