Teaching Czech in the Saxon Upper Lusatia
The article focuses on teaching the Czech language to children, teenagers and adults, especially Sorbs, in Bautzen, Saxony, and its surroundings, which takes place within the framework of the government‘s Program for the Support of Czech Cultural Heritage Abroad. The text is based on the author´s experience as a seconded teacher. He provides basic information concerning Czech studies at the 1st grade of elementary schools, at the gymnasium and in the courses at the Sorbian House in Bautzen, and summarizes his own professional reflection ibidem.
