Data Privacy and Protection Statement
The data collected from both registered and non-registered users of the International and Comparative Law Review (ICLR) is consistent with the standard operations of peer-reviewed academic journals. This includes:
- Information required for communication during the editorial process,
- Details used to inform readers about authorship and content editing,
- Aggregated data on readership behaviors, as well as
- Geopolitical and social data related to scholarly communication.
The editorial team uses this data to manage, publish, and continually improve the journal. Anonymized and aggregated data may also be shared with the Public Knowledge Project (PKP)—the developer of the journal’s publishing platform—for purposes of platform development and enhancement. Appropriate exceptions, such as article metrics, may be included in this sharing. Neither ICLR nor PKP will sell this data or use it for any purpose beyond those explicitly stated here.

Authors publishing in ICLR are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards concerning human subject data included in their research.
