About the Journal

Magister: Reflexe primárního a preprimárního vzdělávání ve výzkumu (Reflection of Primary and Pre-Primary Education in Research) is a peer-reviewed journal published since 2013 by the Department of Primary  Education of the Faculty of Education of Palacký University Olomouc. The journal is published twice a year (June/December)

We focus on presenting the results of current research in the Czech Republic and abroad with an orientation towards primary and pre-primary education. The philosophy of the journal is to regularly collect information and construct the results of empirical research, the output of which should be a follow-up line of knowledge. 

The journal provides a platform for the publication of original work on the topics of education, training and cultivation of the individual in the broadest sense. In the context of the contingency of a number of intervening variables in primary and pre-primary education, they evoke researchers to explore and uncover pedagogical realities. Our intention is to create conditions for researchers or research teams, as well as novice researchers, and to give space for professional discussion, to inform the professional and scientific public about the research carried out, the state of their solutions in terms of content and methodological conclusions in the context of theories of pedagogical or psychological thinking, borderline disciplines, as well as practice. In this way, space is promoted for the application of other findings, thus contributing to the development of science in the field.
