Abstract

Order is one of the most important types of relations that children are already acquainted with in the pre-school age. A thorough understanding of the nature of set order according to the number of elements requires further knowledge about the relation of order. The aim of the study is to describe the process of creating mathematical applets on the topic "number-based ordering" for young children with its specifics, and to present the results of research regarding the intervention of applet on development of the term order taking into consideration pupil’s abilities, interests and needs.
