The role of the mother and child bonds in the emotional development of man

Based on contemporary knowledge about the relationship and its significance for the child's development one can put forward the thesis that the quality of attachment and the resulting consequences for development emotional man in a decisive way affect his later functioning emotional and social. Despite the lack of bright disturbances in family relationships, thorough analysis of the course and quality of the parent-child relationship in the early stages of development (infancy and early childhood) provides knowledge about mechanisms conditioning the child's functioning in later periods. This article is dedicated it will analyze the existing knowledge on this subject and its implications for psychological practice.
