A strategic plan for the innovation of pedagogical practice processes in the undergraduate preparation of primary school teachers

In September 2021, the deans of faculties of education in the Czech Republic signed an agreement with the Minister of Education on the implementation of the reform of the undergraduate preparation of future teachers with an emphasis on the implementation of educational trends according to the Strategy of Educational Policy of the Czech Republic until 2030+. The requirements for new approaches in undergraduate preparation result from very dynamically developing conditions in society. Our aim is to create a plan for the comprehensive development of students in the system of undergraduate preparation as it can be implemented at the Faculty of Education of the University of Olomouc.In this article we build on the analysis of the processes of pedagogical practice in the undergraduate preparation of primary school teachers (Provázková Stolinská, 2020a) and the assessment of the current level of pedagogical practice (Provázková Stolinská, 2020b) with an attempt to propose possible strategies to innovate pedagogical practice in the context of the current needs of the school field and modern trends in pedagogy. We emphasize the added value of the planned strategy in its orientation towards students and the pedagogical field.
